What ComChatX is

ComChatX is a conversational assistant for Amazon sellers. You talk to cx, and cx looks up data, writes and organises files for you on a computer of your own (cx's computer), with the models and data sources we connect. These terms are the agreement between you and ComChatX about using the service. By signing up for or using ComChatX you agree to these terms, the Privacy policy and the Usage policy.

Your account

You sign in with an email address or a Google account; sign-in is handled by our identity provider, Clerk. An account is for you alone. Keep your way of signing in safe: what is used under your account is charged to it.

Balance and charges

The platform's models, data sources and cx's computer are charged from your balance as you use them, and every charge is listed under Usage in the app; a model you call on your own API key is billed to you by its provider, not from your balance. Prices are on the Pricing page. Your balance is in US dollars, kept charge by charge, and a part of the smallest unit is rounded up.

Your balance is made of credits, each with its own end date. A charge takes the credit that ends first among those allowed to pay for it. What is left of a credit when it ends is gone.

Trial

A new account can take a trial credit once: $1 when you sign up directly, $5 when you sign up by invitation, valid for 7 days. A trial credit pays for every model the platform offers, Jev, data sources and cx's computer. Each account takes it once.

Membership

Membership is $10 a month and comes with $10 of credit each period, for every model the platform offers, data sources and cx's computer. The included credit lasts the period and is gone at its end; it does not pay for a membership.

You can subscribe by card and renew automatically each month, or pay for one period at a time by card or Alipay. With “Renew from balance” on in the app, an ended membership is renewed for a period from your top-up and reward credit. You can cancel the subscription or turn renewal off at any time; a period that has begun runs to its end.

When a membership ends, the credit left in the account is frozen: it pays for nothing new, and its end dates run on. It pays again once you are a member again.

Top-ups

A member can top up, at least $10 at a time; a top-up lasts 12 months from when it lands. Payments are handled by Stripe, by card or Alipay.

Invitations

A member has 3 invitations. When someone signs up by your invitation and first becomes a member within 30 days of signing up, you get a $5 reward credit, valid for 12 months. One card or one payment account earns one reward. Invitation rewards follow the rules shown in the app.

Refunds

Membership fees and top-ups that have been paid are not refunded. If you think a charge is wrong, for example a double charge, write to [email protected] with the payment's details and we will correct it once checked. When your bank or payment provider refunds a payment, or a payment dispute is decided against us, the credit it bought is taken back from your account; what cannot be taken back is owed, and paid features are unavailable until it is paid.

cx's computer

cx's computer is a cloud computer that belongs to your account alone. It shuts down by itself after a while idle, unless you ask cx to keep it awake; the time it is on is charged. Your files are kept in our storage, and cx's computer holds a copy. The number of accounts that can have a computer at once is limited, and when every place is taken you wait for one.

Your content

What you write in the conversation, the files you upload and the files cx makes for you are yours. We process them only to provide the service, as the Privacy policy describes. What a model writes can be wrong; check it before you base a business decision on it.

Changes to the service

We keep improving ComChatX, and features, models and data sources may be added, changed or withdrawn. We do not promise the service is never interrupted. If you break these terms or the Usage policy, we may limit or close your account. You can delete your account at any time, as the Privacy policy describes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ComChatX is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect loss from using or being unable to use it; our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update this page and its date; an important change to what you pay is told to you in advance, in the app or by email. Using ComChatX after a change takes effect means you accept the changed terms.
